Having a digital camera is wonderful. We took about 150 pictures in the first 36 hours of Eli's life.
Jenn had an appointment at the mid-wife's at 1:45 pm on Monday the 23rd. We were already thinking of getting things going on that day anyway and the mid-wife agreed that 5 pm that afternoon they'd break Jenn's water. At around 4 Jenn started to feel some minor contractions and we got to the hospital at 5 for our appt. Jenn continued to feel stronger more consistent contractions and at 5:55 pm we decided to go ahead and break her water. Eli was born 45 minutes later at 6:40 pm!
He was 8 lbs. 9 oz and just over 21" long. What a boy.
Since I have so many pictures to get up, there will be very sparse commentary. |
